I'm an Ontario based Mechanical Engineering student at UWaterloo, with big dreams to become a product engineer in the aerospace/automotive field. Jan 2024 - May 2024
Conducted simulations on various parts within jet engines using Catia and Spaceclaim for preprocessing, and Ansys Workbench and LS-Dyna for simulation modelling. Utilized Ansys Composite Modeller to determine the feasibility of swapping a part to a weightsaving composite material.
Sept 2023 - Present
Designed and modelled a light-weight carbon-fibre drone landing gear with a crash failsafe, using Solidworks. Designed an ESC circuit housing in Solidworks, including safety considerations and proper board ventilation.
Apr 2023 - Aug 2023
Inspected and assembled high-voltage interrupting switches and subassemblies with engineering drawings(GD&T). Conducted audits, gauge calibration/R&R, hipot testing, and Rockwell hardness testing to uphold product quality.
Sept 2022 - Apr 2023
Ensured propulsion safety through UV-light inspection and assembly of ball valves, used in the oxidizer loading system. Working on the airframe subteam to machine and assemble a competition-ready rocket frame using carbon fibre.
Sept 2022 - Dec 2022
Represented the 27’ mechanical engineering class in divisional meetings to provide feedback on the course. Helped ~120 fellow students with any course-related issues, speaking on behalf of the student body.

Working towards a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Waterloo. Demonstrated my academic achievment with two Dean's Honour List placements.
